TaskLive SnapBill
Privacy policy | TaskLive SnapBill
The short version
- SnapBill has no account, no sign-in, and no backend. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share your data. We cannot see your bills.
- Everything you capture, including photos, PDFs, amounts and notes, is stored only in the app’s private storage on your device.
- Data leaves your device only when you explicitly share an export (a ZIP file you generate) or send a feedback email yourself, and you choose where it goes.
What the app stores (on your device only)
- Photos of bills you capture and PDF invoices you import
- The details read from them or entered by you: date, merchant, address, invoice number, amounts, currency, exchange rate, tax details, category, payment type, notes
- Your settings: categories, payment types, home currency, thresholds, app lock PIN (stored as a hash), and preferences
- A short local list of app failures, described below
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of this. The app reminds you of this and encourages regular exports as your own backup.
Permissions
- Camera: to photograph paper bills. Photos go to the app’s private storage and nowhere else.
- Photos, media and file access through the system picker: to import an existing photo or PDF you choose. The app can only access the specific files you pick.
On-device processing
Text on your bills is read using Google ML Kit on your device. Bill images and their contents are not sent to us or to any server by SnapBill.
Diagnostics from the text-recognition component
The ML Kit component can, independently of SnapBill, report anonymous technical diagnostics to Google. These reports never contain bill images or bill text.
- Android: this reporting is disabled in the SnapBill build.
Feedback you choose to send
SnapBill has a feedback screen (Settings → Feedback & support). Anything you write there is composed on your device and handed to your own mail app or share sheet. The app never transmits it, and nothing is sent until you press send yourself.
A report includes the app version, your device model and OS version, and the message you typed. Details of a bill (the text read from it, the values you saved) and the bill photo are included only if you switch those on, and the screen shows you the exact text before you send.
If you do send us a report, we hold that email in our support inbox at info@blssoft.in and use it only to answer you and to fix the app. We do not add you to any list.
The app also keeps a short local list of failures (for example “export failed”) on your device so a problem report can describe what went wrong. It contains no bill details, never leaves the device on its own, and is attached to a report only if you switch it on.
Analytics and tracking
SnapBill contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking. We do not know whether you have installed the app, opened it, or what you do in it.
App stores
If you install SnapBill from Google Play or the Apple App Store, those stores handle your download and any payment under their own privacy policies. SnapBill itself receives nothing from them about you.
Children
SnapBill is a business and productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because the app has no way to contact you (we hold no account or address for you), please check this page after app updates that mention policy changes.
