TaskLive is the product line of BLS Software Pvt Ltd, a Bangalore software company that has built web applications and websites since 2006. The name started inside the company as the engineering name for the platform behind Ganav; today it is the family name for two products that share a brand, a design language and one habit: get the transaction on the record, and keep the data where it belongs.

The two products

Ganav — governance-grade accounting for India and the UAE

A multi-company, multi-branch, multi-currency ledger where every financial action runs through Maker–Checker–Approver and lands in an immutable audit trail. On that spine: an AI Document Inbox that turns bills and bank statements into coded journals, a CA-practice suite, GST, TDS and payroll for India, VAT for the UAE, and live connectors to Tally and Zoho Books. Ganav Audit, a separate statutory-audit application, runs on the same governed rails and is in early access.

TaskLive SnapBill — expense bills, on your phone

A local-first app for the person who gets handed the bill. Photograph it at the card machine; the app reads the amount, date, merchant and tax details on the phone itself, files it into its month, and hands accounts one ZIP with every image and an Excel summary. No account, no server, no tracking.

One habit, two products

Live means on the record, as it happens.

The bill is captured at the point of spend, not at month-end. The journal is reviewed before it touches the books, not after the auditor asks. The family name is a reminder of that standard: the task is done when it is recorded, checked and kept.

  • Reviewed before it counts. SnapBill highlights what it is unsure of; Ganav routes every mutation through Maker–Checker.
  • Data stays where it belongs. On the phone until you share it; in your own isolated tenant with your own keys once it is in the books.
  • Honest about scope. Ganav is not a stock or inventory system, and its payroll is Indian statutory. SnapBill does not read bills in the cloud. Each product says what it does not do.

Built, run and supported from one office in Bangalore.

BLS Software started in 2006 building web applications and websites for customers in India, the USA and the Middle East. Two decades and more than a hundred projects later, it builds its own products as well. Ganav and SnapBill are engineered by the same team, on the same stack its customer projects run on, and supported from the same office on Outer Ring Road. BLS is also a Microsoft Indirect Reseller and runs Microsoft cloud environments for its customers.
