Meet you where you are

Migration shouldn't be a leap of faith.

Every Indian business runs something today — usually Tally. The number-one reason they don’t switch is fear of the cutover. Ganav removes it: connect to what you run now, tie your balances out to the paisa, and move on your own timeline.

Tally trial balance carried into Ganav opening balances by the Tally agent, tied out

One agent, every Tally on the machine

Install the agent once. It discovers every Tally company it can reach — across more than one Tally instance if the machine runs several — and shows each one’s status on a firm-level Tally Connections dashboard, mapped to its Ganav company with per-company sync toggles. It finds Tally’s port on its own and tells you on screen if something needs a hand. A fleet view with search handles a real firm’s dozens of agents, and a revoked agent leaves the list cleanly.

Guided master migration

On first connect, Ganav pulls Tally’s groups and ledgers, auto-classifies each as an account vs. customer / vendor / bank, proposes account codes, and matches same-name records instead of duplicating them — all on a reviewable preview screen before anything is written. Validated live against real books of 575 ledgers and 47 groups, with GST party GSTINs captured.

Your Tally group tree, kept

Ganav persists Tally’s own group hierarchy and applies it to your chart of accounts, so Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet render in Tally’s format — the same tree your CA reads today — with a one-click toggle back to the standard statements.

Opening-balance cutover — reconciled before it posts

The cutover imports net opening balances per ledger as at your books-beginning date and produces a reconciliation sheet — Tally’s figure beside Ganav’s, every difference named — that you review before anything is committed. Mis-mapped a ledger? Re-resolve the staged cutover in place, without another round-trip to Tally. The post-cutover Trial Balance tie-out is the acceptance gate: if it doesn’t tie, you don’t cut over.

Proof point (real migration, 2026-08): a firm’s books were redone end-to-end and every one of 104 ledgers tied Tally’s own Trial Balance exactly — zero drafts, zero manual journals, zero plug entries.

Full-year voucher replay

Replay the current year’s vouchers verbatim, month by month — deliberately without tax codes, so your GST returns don’t regenerate and totals match Tally exactly. You never double-count, and you never re-file a return you’ve already filed.

Unattended, or once, without installing

Migration pulls can run unattended on the client’s machine — request a masters pull from Ganav and watch it arrive — or the agent can run once without installing anything, for a firm doing a one-off migration. Live job status shows what the agent is doing right now, and firms download the agent themselves from their support portal.

Two-way sync, with echo-guards

Posted journals flow out to Tally; vouchers created in Tally flow in and become Ganav journals (safely degraded to Draft where governance requires a review). A one-click “Pull from Tally” catches up anything missed, dual echo-guards stop a synced voucher from bouncing back, and Go Live asks you whether Ganav should write into Tally — it never decides for you. Every imported voucher keeps “what Tally said” beside what Ganav posted, forever, with a drill-back to the source.

Zoho Books — become the book of record. Mirror the rest.

Already on Zoho Books? Run Ganav as your governed system of record and let it mirror transactions outbound into Zoho — with a review gate so nothing syncs silently, and the exact Indian GST split preserved.

Exact GST-split fidelity

Invoices push with GST handled correctly — a GST-18% intra-state line auto-splits to CGST 9% + SGST 9%, and Ganav verifies the split Zoho returns matches its own before accepting. Live-proven on a real GST invoice.

Review, then push

A Review / Auto cockpit means a human approves what mirrors to Zoho; once approved, the sync drains autonomously every couple of minutes.

The whole lifecycle, not just "create"

Masters and transactions push with idempotent upserts (re-push = no duplicate). A reversal in Ganav voids the original in Zoho rather than pushing a confusing counter-entry, and edits diff by hash so a no-op change doesn’t churn. Proper OAuth, multi-org support, and Zoho rate-limit governance are built in.

WhatsApp — the channel your clients already answer on

Clients send bills on WhatsApp and answer questions on WhatsApp. Ganav meets them there — through a WhatsApp Business connection — and turns the chat into filed documents and tracked queries instead of screenshots lost on a junior’s phone.

Bills in, filed automatically

A client sends a photo or PDF of a bill; Ganav captures it into the Document Inbox for that company, where the AI reads and codes it like any other upload.

One inbox per company, for the whole team

Staff work a per-company WhatsApp inbox — assign a conversation, mark it read, resolve it — and reply from Ganav with quoted replies and attachments. Nothing goes around the outbox: every message is sent once, logged, and visible to the next person who picks up the thread.

Send what's already published

A report or statement published to the client’s portal can be sent to the client on WhatsApp in one click — the same PDF, delivered where they’ll actually open it.

Templates and governance

Approved message templates for outbound starts; per-company opt-in; the firm’s connection settings held by the platform administrator, never by a client company’s admin.

Bring a Tally company to your demo. We'll migrate it live.
